Fortnite Strategy Two: Pyramid Confusion

Posted by marshalloak on February 2, 2018 at 10:45 PM

Welcome back to only the most professional fortnite strategies that are fool proof and 100% likely to get you a win! Today we are exploring the important concept o0f pyramid confusion. The idea is to place quite a few pyramids within the circle and camp underneath one of them.

To start, you will need to drop in a place where there are tons of trees or rocks so you can stock up on materials. I would suggest a place like wailing woods, moisty mire or lonely lodge because they have a lot of wood and generally spawn with a decent amount of weapons. Of course the first thing you need to do is collect weapons and such, so do that first and then start to break down trees and stone.

Once you are stocked with both weapons and materials, you will want to start to head to a flat part of the map within the circle. Somewhere like fatal fields, dusty depot, etc. and start to place your materials in little pyramids all over. If you are so blessed to find a trap keep it, and save it for later. While you are running to your spot look out for other people or unchecked spaces, as you can always take a quick detour in order to get yourself more materials to win in the late game.

After you get to your spot, start to place the pyramids around you in whatever pattern you so choose, and be sure to save a spot for the one you want to hide in. If you have a trap place it underneath the pyramid or bush you are in so that you can have an extra layer of defense for your strategy.

Ok so now, you've placed all your pyramids, what do you do now? Well similarly to the bush strategy you MUST have patience. You must stay inside your pyramid until someone comes by. At that point shoot a round or two so that they know you're in the pyramid and they'll stay around long enough for their surprise. When they come by the pyramid you're in you can break out and get your free kill, and then wash rinse and repeat.

This strategy oddly ended me in the same place as the bush strategy, but overall it is more of a fun idea than taking the game too seriously all the time. This strategy did take me multiple attempts but after all it was with it because I enjoyed the struggle of finding a good spot within the circle and surviving for a long enough time to see the end result.
